Medical Surgical Nurse New

Pride Health is hiring a RN MedSurg/Tele to support our client’s medical facility in Rochester, NY 14621. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

• RN MedSurg/Tele. 36 hours per week (3x12s, Nights: 7 pm - 7 am)

• Valid NYS RN License

• BLS, ACLS (AHA)

• Bachelor of science in nursing required

RN MedSurg/Tele:

• Studying patients' medical history, test results, and treatment plans.

• Tracking routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.

• Monitoring, interpreting, and recording data from specialized medical technologies and equipment.

• Administering medication and performing treatment interventions in consultation with healthcare specialists.

• Maintaining and updating ward charts, patient files, and medical records.

• Instructing Telemetry Unit staff on patient care and treatment plans.

Experience required:

• 2 years of experience in MedSurg/Tele is required

• 1 years in Telemetry

• EPIC experience is highly preferred

• Weekly Travel Pay Range: $2200/week to $2400/week
